This sweater is knit in the round to the
underarms, then is worked back and forth to the shoulders. The underarm
cable subtly shapes the sweater body for a flattering fit.
Stitches are picked up around the neckline for
the hood, with the cables being grafted at the top of the hood to create a
seamless look. |

 The
sleeves are knit flat, and sewn into the body of the sweater. The
wrist features the Celtic cable detail which also appears at the side seam
hemline.
This side seam cable travels up to the underarm of the
sweater, where the cable widens out and repeats the hemline cable in reverse.
This cabling subtly shapes the body of the sweater.
The hand warmer pocket on the front is optional.
