What's the difference between a yarn pack and a kit?
A kit includes the pattern (either a single pattern or the book the pattern
is in) and the yarn quantities as designated by the pattern for your size.
A yarn pack is just that -- the yarn (you already have the pattern). |

How do I know which size to knit? Sizing as shown is the
finished chest circumference -- buy the circumference to give you the ease
you you want |

Why can't I get gauge using the needle sizes as recommended?
The needle size given is for the average knitter. You may knit
tighter/looser than the average knitter. You must adjust
the needle size that you are using to ensure that you knit to the gauge
called for in the pattern. If you don't, your garment will be either
smaller or larger than you expect, and you may run out of yarn! |
|
Do you ever have sales? No -- what I do is put any odd shade
lots balls in my "discount bin" - the pricing is 30% off and you pay the
full postage. |
|
Why can't I visit She Ewe Knits? She Ewe Knits is a
home-based business - I'm not set up as a retailer and do all of my business
mail order. I do attend the Kitchener Waterloo Knitter's Fair in
September -- that's when you can see the yarns in person. |

I'd like to do the "blank" fair isle design, but could you do a
different colorway for me? Sorry, but no. There are some
designs that can be easily done in other colorways (because they use limited
shades to start with) -- but the usual fair isle design plays one shade on
another and needs to be swatched to ensure a good translation -- this is
something you'd have to do for yourself. |
